Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026

BreachFix (“we”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect on this website, why, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your data and we don’t use advertising trackers.

What we collect

  • Information you submit: when you send an inquiry (via the form or the chat assistant): your email, an app URL or repo if you share one, your message, and any file you attach.
  • Basic analytics (with your consent): an anonymous visitor id, the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags (UTM) in the link you followed.
  • Chat messages: what you type into the assistant is processed to generate a reply and may be attached to your inquiry if you choose to send it to us.

Cookies we use

  • bp_consent: essential. Remembers whether you accepted analytics or chose essential only. Always set when you make a choice.
  • bp_vid / bp_ctx: analytics. An anonymous id and first-visit context. Set only if you accept; removed if you choose essential only.

Why we use it

To reply to your inquiry and scope your security review, to understand where our clients find us, and to improve the site. That’s it.

Your choices

Use the controls above, the cookie banner, or the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Choosing essential only does not affect the chat or inquiry form. To request access to, or deletion of, information you’ve sent us, email sales@breachfix.dev.

Sharing

We use trusted service providers to run the site and the chat assistant (our hosting provider, CRM, and AI/LLM provider when configured). They process data on our behalf to deliver the service and don’t use it for their own marketing. We don’t sell personal data.
